As a younger woman shopping alone I hate coming to this store. You can’t walk through the parking lot without someone asking for money or to talk about their religion. Multiple times I’ve been approached at my car as well.

Great selection and prices. Very helpful old White guy who was stocking shelves. He knew precisely where every item I asked him about was located....not just which aisle, but where it was in the aisle.

Love this store. It has the best prices for many staple items that you need to fill your pantry - dry goods like flour, pasta, etc. I always find a good deal on meat cheaper than any other store in the area. Their frozen foods aren't that much cheaper than any other store but I find they always have good sales on frozen vegetables especially the Bird's Eye brand. But the best part - the prices of laundry detergent. I've seen Tide and Gain for less than $10.00. Definitely my #1 store to save money!

I really have to believe that Food Lion no matter which one you go to just doesn’t care about the food that’s on their shelves. If you shop at Food Lion be careful and look at the dates on the item. This past Sunday I had bought a container of Bob Evans Mac n Cheese. The use by date on it was 7/1/25!!! Today is 8/21/25 so it was well over a month past its shelf life! I have heard from other people on Tik Tok and social media that they’ve been doing this. So sadly I may have to shop elsewhere for my groceries!
