Ronald the dairy dept is a true treasure. He ALWAYS has the warmest smile, genuine personality. Always on top of his dept. When he is gone nothing is filled, shevles are empty. So when he returns he has chaos to fix bc nothing was done while he enjoyed his vacation. GIVE HIM A RAISE!!!

I frequent this food lion a lot and I've never had an issue, until today. I had a cart full of groceries and not a single cash register was open. I try to go up to one and she said she was closing. Another lady was standing at a register and I asked her if she was open and she rudely went no. And so I had to turn around and self check out my over $200 worth of groceries by myself, having to put the groceries on the floor to make sure I didn't miss anything in my cart and having to bag everything by myself. Don't know what was going on here but the store was full of employees, and no one bothered to help me. Also, two minutes after I started checking out my items at the self service the lady who told me no at the register that she wasn't open, was checking out other customers. If she had told me, wait five minutes and I'll be ready to check you out I would have completely understood, but to just look at me, say no in a rude tone and then two minutes later help other customers is inconsiderate and rude.

I just left the service counter where I dealt with a young man - Thomas - on Sunday/ 02/22 at 9:45 pm . He was very helpful, courteous and HONEST, I gave him 120 dollars over the amount I am supposed to give him for the service and I had no idea that I did, he counted the money three times and returned the extra money I gave him by mistake. It’s not very often life shows you HONESTY. Thank you THOMAS .

Perfectly adequate. Clean. Had cashiers. Produce was not all that great or fresh looking. I usually go to Publix or Harris Teeter for produce.

I want to say I absolutely love this food Lion I come here everyday when I get off work it's the highlight of my evening keep up the good job you guys
