My experience with the scan and go was ok, just ok first time around the associate was not helpful. Too bust socializing with others I explained this was my first try. Personally I prefer a face to face contact with a person who love the job of being friendly there was no long line or was the associate busy. Keep the lifestyle of face to face connection.

I am not a local, I have visited the other Walmarts and they are dirty and staff are generally not friendly. As soon as I landed and left the airport I noticed that all Walmarts were closed in Abq with the exception of this one. I needed some items and the three people I asked including the person at the front were very friendly and kind. The Walmart was very clean and organized. The check out process was fast. This is probably the first time I had a good experience in Walmart.

Don't go into this store to buy a six pack of beer if you have your spouse with you. They carded nearly 70 year old me, then wanted to see the license of my wife. I drove, so she did not have her license with her. The manager looked at my grey-haired wife and still would not allow me to purchase the beverage. (We look like Methuselah's grandparents.) If she'd waited out in the car, would I still have had a problem? Who was to say if I had six children in the car? Would I have been able to make a purchase if any of my grandchildren were in tow in the store? Come on, manager - use some common sense. Don't just stand there spouting (over and over like an automaton) "We don't want to lose our liquor license."

Don't ever need something that is locked up you will never get it lol. But the cashier's are always friendly and upbeat!!!
