It's not for me. It was like stepping back into 1978. Everything was in a box or can. The fresh veg were hiding in a color in the corner like some ki d of punishment. And there wasn't much selection of anything if it wasn't in a box. If you're into that kind of thing, knock your bad self out. I will go to sprouts tomorrow when I'm on that side of town.

Got tired of Walmarts constantly having false advertisement in there deli section . So decided to try John Brooks in Socorro. The staff were amazing and could actually be of help. I am tired of big corporations that put stock holders first and customers last. John brooks is an amazing store and from now on we will do all our groceries there when in Socorro and not at Walmart.

Cool store but the customer service is horrible. There is an old/middle aged lady that works here that is seriously anti everything. She is a horrible rude woman. Never bothered to know her name but will be posting it just as soon as I find out. This lady also works self checkout

This place always seems to have items I can't find anywhere else, and the folks who work here are always so nice and helpful! It definitely has that "small town grocery store" feel.

Is it just me or does a self checkout lady with glasses just hate everyone. I live next door to John Brooks and I seriously will drive all the way to Smith's on 4th Street just to avoid this demonic woman. I don't think I've ever encountered someone so miserable rude and mean. I refuse to spend any more money here after my last encounter with her and all I did was ask her if she could help me ring up an item that wasn't ringing up. And I'm not the only one my entire family stopped spending their money here because of her
