This is a very beautiful store. They have many handicap parking right against the front of the store. They are very considerate. I liked the red shopping carts. They have a very interesting discount grocery system. They offer a low price then charge 10% at check out but there is no tax on food. So a 89 cent apple plus 10% would cost you at check out 97 cents. They have very nice BIG fruit. The Apple I got is called Cosmic and it was the largest I've ever seen.

The best of the best yummy pickles to yummy food a wide variety of meats they have a good selection and options for tasty foods, however I was shocked to see an employee standing on canned foods instead of using a stool very unsanitary I don’t need dirty feet on my canned foods please provide proper equipment to your employees!

I was on this side of town at an estate sale & needed to grab some groceries before heading home. I had never been in a Food King, so in I go. On entering I met Mariah who I ask did I need a store card to get discounts. She smile, responded no, then broke down how the store worked. They buy the products at a great price then only charge 10% over that price. This to pay over head & employees. Sounds wonderful to me. The store was clean, well stocked, & organized. Because I had never been in store I had to ask employee Abdul where things were to help me get home quicker. Three times he was quick to respond with location, even offered to show me. He said there was only one store in town, told me about stores in other cities. Prices were comparable & reasonable. I live too far away to shop here, but if you do give them a try. I hope to visit again

I was shopping today with my infant son in the phone when an older employee with a heart tattoo on her neck complained about me on my phone while checking out i replied to her that maybe she should treat guests nicer the entire check out process she had comment and complaints. I did not see any policy posted about cell phone use during the check out process even though i was at the self check out . She then threatened to cancel my order because i was standing up for myself against her rude comments i spoke to a manger and told him she threatened to cancel my order he politely asked her to step aside and he finished my transaction this experience was horrible by far .Very unprofessional staff . Never have i been soo insulted at a grocery store .

It was my first time here. I really enjoyed some of the very hard to find items they carried. Like old Kool aid flavors, and random snacks and stuff from when I was a kid. The prices were fair and the produce was very fresh, I will be returning in the future!
