Have never had a problem, been shopping here for years. Yesterday I purchased ingredients for a green chili stew, including pork, 3ncans of tomatoes sauce two jars of extra hot green chili and a 5lb bag of potatoes. I cooked it as normal but the potatoes ended up being bad making the entire stew inedible. I called to let them know and was offered a new bag of potatoes and nothing else. I can not make another batch with just potatoes! Very unsatisfied!!

It’s very disappointing to see how Helen, the elderly cashier lady behaves. She really needs training on how to behave when she is on the clock. I’d really love to speak with a manager regarding her behavior. No one should be treated the way she has treated multiple people throughout the past few months.

While I appreciate that Albertsons didn’t force self-checkout these recent years and keeps cashiers, (and I choose to shop there because of this), this morning there was only one lane open and it was 4 big carts deep. So I went to the self-checkout which was marked express, but no one was there so I checked myself out. I was scolded for having more than 15 items by an employee who was supervising the area, I guess. But not supervising enough to open another check out lane. No self-checkout is possible for people with more than 15 items? Why are there 4 self-checkouts for express, but none for a large cart? I choose to shop early mornings to avoid lines. What would have been better was an employee saying “This is for 15 items but let me get you over here.” Don’t scold me while I’m out trying to solve problems.

I went on and was purchasing some items. I noticed their price was significantly higher than Walmart. So I asked if they price match if I have the price next time. I’d already paid for my items. The clerk looked at me and said he’s never heard of price matching. He verified and I went on my way. If they aren’t concerned with a competitor selling me the items then I suppose I’m not concerned if they succeed in my neighborhood. Thanks for driving me to Walmart. Best of luck running a business.
