Certified Luke Kurtis 8 months agoThis Smiths is about 5 minutes from my house so I frequent it multiple times a week. The store is always clean & the staff is always friendly. I got to smiths over some of the other grocery stores bc I think they have great prices for the value. Well taken care of location. 🙏
Will V 6 months agoThis store is constantly overcharging customers. The last two times I went there, the price listed on the shelf was much lower than what showed on the receipt. Of course I didn’t notice until I got home. This is illegal and this is theft. If I was to walk in and steal from them, I would be arrested. There should be punishments for their illegal behavior. Triple check your receipts and make a note of the prices listed on the shelves if you use this store, because there is a much higher than 0% chance you are being robbed by them. I’m not sure if this is a Smiths wide problem or just confined to the store. The pharmacy however, is top-notch and probably the best one I’ve ever been to. Employees are helpful, they try to give you every discount they can, and generally just have excellent customer service.
Lee Gillette 4 months agoI love Smiths, excellent customer service and treat my service dog with respect and kindness. Alan and the Other managers are truly great at what they do! Smiths Summerlin, NV ROCKS
Linda Martinez 2 months agoThe experience upset me enough that I feel leadership seriously needs to pay attention to this I came into the store looking for the bottled Starbucks drinks and asked an employee named Bobby for help. From the moment I walked in, Bobby was kind, welcoming, and genuinely trying to assist me. When he wasn’t sure where the item was, he politely asked another employee named Denise for help. What happened next was honestly uncomfortable to witness as a customer. Denise completely ignored him the first time he asked and turned her back toward him without acknowledging him at all. Since there was no response, Bobby understandably thought she either didn’t hear him or was ignoring him, so he went to ask other employees nearby. The moment Denise realized he was asking someone else, she yelled across the aisle in an extremely hostile and aggressive tone saying she was already looking for the item. The problem is nobody would have known that because she never communicated it in the first place. Her behavior toward her coworker was disrespectful, intimidating, and completely unnecessary, especially in front of customers. What upset me most was watching an employee who was genuinely trying to help me get treated badly for simply asking for assistance. What also bothered me was the reaction from the other employees around them. Nobody seemed surprised by the way Denise spoke to Bobby, which honestly made it feel like this is normal behavior from her and something that has been allowed to continue for a long time without accountability. As a customer, that says a lot about the work environment. Employees should not have to be spoken to that way while simply trying to do their jobs and help customers. I ended up speaking to a manager afterward, and even the manager acknowledged the seriousness of the situation. I was told that this was not the first complaint involving Denise’s behavior and that the matter would be escalated to a director or someone at a higher level. Hearing that honestly made the situation even more disappointing because it suggests this behavior has already been noticed before and still continues. Despite all of this, Bobby remained professional, respectful, and helpful the entire time and still helped me find the item I needed. Employees like him are the reason customers return. Unfortunately, Denise’s behavior completely changed the atmosphere of the visit and left a very negative impression. Leadership should absolutely be aware of how staff members are treating one another on the floor because customers do notice, and it reflects directly on the store as a whole.
Jasmine Salcedo a month agoI visited Smith’s Money Services today to cash a check. The employee, Maya, seemed rude from the start. When I provided my passport for ID, she became frustrated, cut me off, and abruptly returned it without explanation, saying she couldn’t scan it and that I needed to go to another Smith’s location. The interaction felt unprofessional and I was not given any clear explanation or assistance. I’m requesting management review this interaction.
