Moobongri Soondae, Saku eatery and Hanmo tofu were all temporarily closed when we were here. We had mr Paik and BBQ chicken. The food was solid but not super amazing. BBQ chicken lacked a bit of flavor, we had honey garlic and spicy garlic. MR paik stir fried noodles missed the wok flavor. The spicy chicken was a bit soggy but the sweet and sour pork was decent. We'll have to try another time when all the other places are opened and may be Mr Paik and BBQ will be better

I noticed that their prepared food has been upgraded. It taste much better than when they first opened. I was sed to go to Greenland for gimbap, now HMart is better, and for some reason Greenland now has a lot more rice than the stuffing. Also, if you haven’t tried the the roasted sweet potatoes, you’re missing out. Super tasty.

Stopped to check out H Mart as I wanted to find some delicious delights for lunch. My first impression is how clean the store is and the employees are very polite. Saw a wide selection of fruits, vegetables and meats. I was particularly drawn to the prepared food area. Ended up with Poke and Kimchi. Not only was the fish fresh, the prepared Kimchi was delicious as well! Really impressed with the store and will be back.

Let me start with the advantages: the supermarket is large, clean, and bright, with a wide variety of food, the food categories are clearly marked, and the food is fresh.Here are the downsides: Most fruits, vegetables, and meats are overpriced. The Golden Berries I bought were $3.99/170g, $10.00/lb, and they were moldy, making me feel sick. The value for money here is far worse than Costco. The seafood and Japanese cuisine here are very rich, the food is very fresh and tastes great. When you ask a manager, it's obvious she won't smile and is completely serious. I felt like she was unhappy.

I have been obsessed with roasted sweet potatoes and it has just gotten more intense since traveling to Japan. As soon as I walked in I could smell them backing in the corner closes to the entrance. There were both the white and purple. The white is the traditional taste and is better (and cheaper) but han the purple. I eat the purple just because I feel its healthier and a great way to get purple foods in my diet.
