Hard-to-miss Walgreens. Prices of items here do reflect the foot traffic it receives. Nonetheless great place to get essentials, especially water!

The employees were on their phones each time we came in. One girl was scrolling social media when giving us our receipt. The next time we came in the guy was having a full on conversation with someone he was meeting up with later. I’ve never seen such bad customer service anywhere. Don’t get a job if your social life is more important.

I work at Walgreens in Memphis and this store is the worst I ever seen me and the wife was in town for the New Orleans vs Patriots games and the service was horrible I had to tell them about my employee discount twice and one employee had on earphones and on his phone. My wife ask him was he open and he said “I GUESS…… WOW” this is ridiculous in all the cities I visit this is the WORST ONE!!!!!! This store doesn’t even deserve the one star!

This store has issues... Numerous issues! Lines are ten plus customers 3 of 4 times I come, no matter the day of the week or time of day. Stock is normally low or non existent of the staple-type foods and drinks. They lock up the dish soap? Yes. Why do they do this? No clue. Guess there’s a big market for stolen Dawn dish soap? Whatever. Also the store is just in general “ick” state as far as the cleaning, especially the floors.

This is a smaller version of the regular Walgreens we’re all used to. They mainly have tourists & travelers needs (toiletries, makeup, OTC meds, food/snacks, drinks/liquor, etc… Besides the musty smell (hard to get rid of in the old buildings downtown, so not faulting Walgreens) the store is usually well stocked and clean. It gets a TON of traffic on a daily basis, given its proximity to The French Quarter so that’s amazing in itself. The employees are always courteous and friendly. Five stars and two thumbs up! 😊👍👍
