If you are traveling, this is a great place to stay near mind in case you need anything. I had to pick up some traveling items. They also have a really good selection of local beer and wine from Louisiana.

We drove by Rouses multiple times in recent weeks and were wanting to stop by to check it out! Its centrally located to downtown & when you are inside, hardly seems like it, which is a great quality to have! Theres an outside parking lot as well as a parking garage seems like, super close to the Superdome. Rouses has everything you can think of for groceries & essentials, with hot food to take for a quick lunch or dinner at home, an omelette bar, daily specials for lunch time, and a delicious bakery as well. We opted for the smores king cake that they made in house & it was so delicious (like a big cinnamon roll!) and are looking forward to tasting other treats they have. The store is well lighted, maintained, almost like a Whole Foods vibe to it, & the staff seem helpful.

I just landed in New Orleans, heard good things online, but my experience was horrible. Every encounter with the employees was met with rude hostility. I was over charged for the taco’s. I bought 6 plates of tacos, the food was horrible. Literally I had to throw them away. I paid 120 for chicken ribs and tacos that you can clearly see that I was charged different amounts for the same tacos.

Very nice store with reasonable prices within easy walking distance from the Amtrak station. The produce was fresh and the deli had a very good selection! Late night hours were very accommodating and welcome, overall I would highly recommend this particular store!

I was quite surprised by this grocery store. I thought it would be bare bones, but it was more like BONES MALONES…. Nice selection. Nice prices. Nice service. They even had legit prime grade beef at good prices. I thought at first it was choice with nice marbling, but nope, it was dope.
