Hanks is the most wonderful store in the world! Their food is 12/10 delicious and the prices are unbeatable. The fried chicken is so good, the hanks sauce is to die for. Dont get me started on the corn dogs dogs. IF I COULD DO MORE THAN EAT THEM I WOULD. If I could throw every corn dog I eat up and eat it again I would. Best corn dogs ever. The Philly cheesesteak poboy mmmmmm. The employees are not only friendly and cool, they are badasses. The ambience is good enough for a wedding. I want to get a hanks tattoo. BEST STORE EVER and their alcohol selection is good too

This place has amazing fried chicken (po boys ain't bad neither) and a full liquor store (top shelf stuff, bitters, and everything) in it. I stayed near here and literally would wake up craving more of their chicken for breakfast.

I went to Hanks told the lady I wanted three pieces of fish and fries she perceives to give me the two old pieces of fish. I told her I said I wanted three pieces of fish with fries. She told me it would be a 10 minute wait. I told her no problem the bag of old fish that she will try to give me sit on the counter for eight minutes straight and they took the bag off the counter 10 minutes past. She called me over there. I grabbed the bag only one piece of fish in there. I told her ma’am I said three pieces of fish with fries so she got an attitude then I watch her. She proceeds to give me the two old fish that was sitting on the counter for eight minutes plus the one fresh piece of fish. I just walked out at that point

A beautiful market that fed my family on our recent vacation to NOLA. Those individual fried chicken pieces are set at a dangerously good price along with everything else in the Kitchen. Incredible value. Looking forward to visiting again.

Heard about hanks online, one of the best tasting po boys I’ve ever had, so good! Got a shrimp version and it was fresh and flavorful.Definitely worth it to make it over there. You can take a bus from French quarter for 1.25$. Only takes about 5 mins. Will definitely be back!
