If you're looking for a delicious poke chicken bento, this place is an absolute gem! Every time I visit, I'm impressed by the freshness of the ingredients. The staff always prepares it right in front of you, ensuring that you get the best quality meal possible. It’s a level of care and attention that I haven’t found at any other location. Brandan also went out of his way to get me fresh chicken and rice! The atmosphere is always welcoming, with the staff greeting you with genuine smiles that instantly brighten your day. Their kindness and willingness to help truly make each visit special. It’s clear they take pride in their work, and it shows in the food and service. I often travel from the other side of the island just to enjoy this bento. It’s worth every mile! If you’re in the area and craving something fresh and flavorful, I highly recommend stopping by. You won’t be disappointed!

Huge mahalo to Holly in the poke department at Foodland Market for her incredible aloha spirit and outstanding customer service! 🌺 From the moment I walked up, Holly is warm, welcoming, and so helpful. She made the whole experience feel personal with her kindness, patience, and genuine local hospitality. The poke was fresh and delicious, but Holly’s positive energy truly made the visit special. Years ago we looked forward in anticipation of what Foodland would create in our neighborhood. We weren't disappointed. Kahala Market became our friendly grocery store. The location was perfect that it was walking distance from our home. Their meat and seafood was stocked with fresh products. Produce department was varied with fresh greens from local farms. The bento and poke became our favorite items we purchased consistently. The baked goodies were equally scrumptious.

Kahala Market is a great place to get yourself a chef made breakfast, lunch, dinner, snack, dessert, hand made in-house juice, smoothie and much more. It is a relatively small store but has an absolutely incredible hot deli, cold deli, poke/sushi bar and more. Honestly it's to much to list. The food is actually CHEF prepared and it is obvious. The ingredients are always top shelf. There is a fair amount of produce, groceries, beverages and dry goods available too. A nice floral selection and an impressive alcohol selection as well. I personally cannot pass up the Portuguese sausage chili, Portuguese bean soup, kalbi style ribeye and lilkoi brûlée or chocolate dobash cake. Excellent place for lunch and thankfully very close to my place of work

This is my go-to spot when I don’t have dinner reservations or plans to cook. There are always great local dishes—my favorites are the chicken karaage and Brussels sprouts in kimchee sauce. All of the poke options are fresh as well. The food pairs beautifully with their wine and alcohol selection, which is superior to most other places. Parking can be a bit challenging during rush hour, but it’s absolutely worth it.
