Very cool place to shop. Prices on produce are competitive with other grocery stores. Meats are particular and more on the premium end. A plethora of Korean and Japanese products. If you can't find the Korean product you're looking good for, I don't know where you can find it except in the mother country itself. 😉 The food court upstairs is pretty interesting as well. Will stop by again when it's open. Parking and store information are in the pics provided. 🤙✌😊 11/2022 Took a walk to the food court upstairs during the "Rooted" in Kakaako street event. It's still a different place to shop. Different foods upstairs, and a different place to shop - good stuff - downstairs. ✌️ 2/2024 I just came back from visiting Korea for the first time and am a mire informed shopper. It's still a great place to shop! 😉🤙✌️

I actually visited the second floor of H Mart Kaka’ako because I heard there was a food court and there is! Amongst a variety of places to try Giovanni Shrimp truck has a location up there, great for when you don’t want to drive all the way to the North Shore. My shrimp plate was just as good as the original truck! Go check it out!

Shelves are very well stocked and neat. Selection is great too. Parking could be challenging at times. Big plus is the food hall on 2nd floor - especially Giovanni’s shrimp - don’t have to deal with the flies and there a restroom to wash your hands when your done eating 😉

This is one of the smallest H-Marts that I have ever visited. It seemed to have everything and the Korean imports were just slightly higher than those in California H-Marts, except for the fruits. Fruits were priced higher here. There’s free one-hour parking in the building directly next to it. No validation was needed, but spaces were very limited. Only the first level had signs that allowed H-Mart customers to park. If you don’t see a space on the first level, just wait around and don’t go higher up. All other levels were reserved parking and it’s difficult to turn around if went past the first level.

Agree with other reviews that parking is a bit tight but the food court was worth stopping into. We tried the two Korean food stalls and the mochi donut station and was pleasantly surprised that all three were pretty good. We had the mul neng myun (cold buckwheat noodles in soup), jajjang myeun (noodles with black bean sauce), bibimbap (rice with marinated beef and vegetables), mochi donuts, and egg and ham sandwich on sweet milk bread, which we almost overlooked at the mochi donut stall because it was not well placed at the bottom of their menu boards. Everything seemed fresh and tasty for casual dining/fast food. Service at all was also friendly and kind. One improvement could have been the jajjang myeun noodles which I prefer thicker. The market also had packaged to go ready meals on the main level such as sushi rolls, Korean kimbap, and even hot roasted sweet potatoes which looked good but didn’t get to try.
