Kroger in Atlanta is a well-organized and fully stocked store that makes grocery shopping smooth and convenient. The aisles are clean, and the produce section is fresh and neatly arranged. Staff members are helpful and courteous, and checkout is usually quick. It’s a reliable neighborhood spot for everything from daily essentials to fresh meals on the go.

I try not to leave bad reviews for grocery stores cause there’s a lot going on, but there has been a drastic shift in service at this particular Kroger in the past 2 months. The last two times I’ve went there’s been no carts (no hand carts either) available. Waiting in lines to check out whether it’s self checkout or with an associate 20 people deep. And there are carts all throughout the parking lot that are disabled and can’t move because of the wheel locking trackers. Which some of them are in front of the electric charging stations. Like what is going on?! I went in for 3 items and promptly put them back.

Kroger used to be a good store, but those days are long gone, this store in particular. Record profits for Kroger due to food prices through the roof. It’s nearly impossible to find any grocer to assist you, and when you do they behave rudely and don’t know where anything is. The store is always a mess and shelves unorganized. And to top it off, there are never any actual human employees working checkout lanes. Kroger would prefer to save a buck and use robots, and then after you spend $200 on poor quality meat and half spoiled vegetables, force you to prove you’re not a thief to an armed guard. This is the last insult forced upon you by an ungrateful company. I would recommend the Publix down the street any day.

I frequently visit this store due it the convenient location. Last week around 1030pm i purchased a bag full of items. Paid at the self checkout and proceeded to leave. An armed security guard blocked the exit and asked for a receipt. I told him I didn't grab it. He demanded to see the receipt. I told him you stood there watching me scan, tap my card and bag. He began to use an aggressive tone as if that would scare me into going back to get the receipt..As other paying customers are walking out with there carts I went around him to exit. He followed me to the second exit door still demanding a receipt. At that point I told him if he wanted it that bad he needed to go get it, I had no plans on returning my items..as im walking to my car I told him he'd have a bigger problem once I reach my vehicle if he continues to follow me. He went back into the store. The next night I went to the Kroger on Moreland around the same time after work and the same security company was present but didn't harness customers as we left out. In cases where if I purchased something not bagged I could definitely see providing a receipt. I guess publix will be the better choice going forward.

I’m literally only giving 1 star because of their employee that worked self checkout today 6/1/26 her name was GABBI. She was extremely unprofessional and lacked work ethic! In my 3yrs of staying outside of this Kroger, I have never encountered such a rude and careless worker. Everyone is always so pleasant there and she makes the store look bad with her poor attitude. Check your cameras. All she does while people need assistance is eat her snacks!!!!! She’s not worth you all reputation going under.
