I want to write a good review of this Kroger. It’s a smaller store overall but that cannot be blamed on the employees. Any time I’ve walked through the store stockists have been friendly. I usually use self checkout which is one reason I like this store and if you ever need assistance I have never had an issue. I’ve gone to this store probably 50 or more times cause I live so close and I like it. Because it is a smaller store I find it doesn’t have as many brands as larger locations, but IMO that’s to be expected because of the size!!! Does not distract from the store, it is what it is. They still have a great selection.

I come to this Kroger all the time bc I live down the street. I’ve never had a bad experience until today! I don’t know her name bc she DIDN’T have on a name tag & I know that’s required (uniform). She had dreads with two ponytails at the top, glasses and ALOT of piercings on her face. That’s not the problem. The problem was her attitude. She was standing at her register on her phone with no one in her line. The other lines were long. So I went over and said “ Hey excuse me maam are you open?” I said it twice and she didn’t even look up and you can tell when someone hears you but they are ignoring you. So I went up a little closer and said the same thing. Then she said YEAH….and that’s was it!!!! No apology or. Nothing. She rung my stuff up, didn’t tell me a total or anything. I just got my stuff and left. I hate to be treated like that and I’m a paying customer. We did nothing to you? To bring your attitude to work. Then I forgot to mention she was still doing something on her phone while I was trying to pay. Like really?? It’s sad. These ppl don’t wanna work or give good customer service these days. I don’t even like giving bad reviews bc I have my own business and I don’t like to out Anyone down but somebody need to see this and tell her about herself!

Today, I visited Kroger at the Moreland store and had the pleasure of being assisted by an employee named DeJuan / D Juan. I just want to say thank you so much! You truly went above and beyond by helping me with my basket and assisting in the clearance section (Coloring books). Because of your kindness and effort, I was able to stay within my budget—and you genuinely made my day. Your willingness to help not only me but the other ladies there as well did not go unnoticed. That kind of service is rare and deeply appreciated. Kroger, you did an excellent job hiring this young man. DeJuan represents your company with excellence, and he deserves all the appreciation and recognition for his hard work and dedication. Keep up the amazing work, DeJuan—and thank you again! I usually do not write negative reviews but I am to my last straw with this Kroger and I hope this review gets into the hands of someone who can make changes. Every time I come in, there are hardly any and most of the time no grocery carts. They are in the corals overflowing to the point where they hit cars. Then you come in and everything isn’t stocked. Finally, you go to check out and there is maybe one lane open and the line wrapped around multiple aisles. Do you see a manager come out and manage the situation? Jump on register and clear the lanes? Almost never and if they do have to lower themselves to do something that forces the to interact with customers, they treat you as if you ruined their day by existing in the business they are paid to manage. There is hardly ever anyone to help bag and if they do, the customer can bag faster than the bagger and they act as if it isn’t their job to help. There are several very sweet high school aged cashiers that are always working hard and smiling. The young man with locs who went to a charter school and the girl with facial piercings are always kind. Explain to me how kids working their first jobs are more professional and kind to the people who keep your business open than the leadership. Every time I step foot in here it is a nightmare to the point where I’d rather drive to Glenwood Ave despite living .5 miles from THIS location. Staff appropriately so your customers have the best experience possible. Please retrain your leadership team. Give a damn!

I am tired of picking up an item off the shelf & find out it’s a different price at check out. I guess it’s my bad. I just need to go to Aldi.
