went last night for a few things and stopped to get some scratch off and lady asked what am i doing i’m not supposed to be there taking my time. she was a superviser and didn’t want to give me her name but terrible attitude had no type of great customer service and i was asking a guy for help and this guy goes straight to the pokemon vending machine like are you kidding me.

If you actually need the groceries you requested don’t use Safeway’s service. First , my order was supposed to be delivered on Sunday (I used the largest delivery window because I thought they might be busy) at 10 pm my groceries had not arrived. I received a message that my order was not going to be delivered after 10 pm. I rescheduled the order for Monday (I had 45 items in the list). Tonight my order was delivered with 18 items missing! EIGHTEEN including one item they asked to sub. This was an incredibly bad experience and I won’t use this service again. Oh - I won’t get my refund for 7 - 10 business days… though they happily billed me before anyone shopped for my items. It is rare that I write a negative review - lesson learned - go pick up my own groceries.

Today was the last time I’m shopping at this Safeway. There is a whole aisle with a glass cabinet which locks up a variety of items. Trying to find an employee who will open it is impossible. At least CVS has a button to push and an employee immediately comes. There were six people waiting for help when I gave up and left. They are probably still waiting.

I came to the store today, April 19, 2026 at 1:41 PM. This is not my first time at the store. I actually live near the store. Today I went to the store and got 26 items totaling $198.05 when I got my items I proceeded to the self check out like I’ve done since the store opened. I was stop by a woman that was at the self checkout. She was an employee. She said they don’t allow more than 15 items to be rung up here I said that’s interesting. I’ve never heard of that. I actually used to work at this store when it first opened from being remodel. She Said yeah that’s what we do here. I said when did thay start she brushed it off and walked away. I continue to ring up my items. She then came back and said other people would have made you start over but I’ll let you continue. I said I appreciate that. The fact that I believe that she’s lying because certain people she just don’t want to deal with so she will discriminate against certain people by the number of items in their cart assuming most likely they won’t pay for it or they will need help from her and she just doesn’t feel like being bothered. It was obvious I didn’t need help so that was the reason she truly continue to “allow” me to continue to ring up my items, but I definitely feel discriminated against. I didn’t call for her help so she shouldn’t have even walked up to me not unless she was walking past and just simply spoke and said hello. REF: 644103457600 AUTH: 00473859

This Safeway is consistently frustrating. On busy days, it is nearly impossible to find a cart, and the receipt-activated exit gate is unreliable and often doesn’t work properly. Their delivery service is also hit or miss. Orders may be left without notification, which makes it feel unreliable. Customer service is inconsistent. Some employees are helpful, while others come across as cold or disengaged. The only positive is parking is not an issue. Overall, the experience is unpredictable. Shop here with caution.
