This place always has a fantastic selection of fresh produce and quality meats! The staff are friendly and willing to help with anything you need. Plus, the bakery section is a total treat—definitely worth the visit!

This location right off of the NoMa-Gallaudet Station is remarkably convenient. I can quickly get to Union Station from here. I picked up a frozen skillet meal to take back to the hotel. One piece of advise: if you're staying at a hotel nearby if at all possible, check in first. It seems that the store maintains a stringent bag policy.

Markesha in the prepared foods section was absolutely AMAZINGG!! She was so kind in helping me out and didn't make me feel like i was bothering her (which you typically deal with when asking for help in a grocery store). She was a breath of fresh air and well deserved to be recognized for her help and kindness. Loved her!

A employee named Andrew, brown skin, dreadlocks with gold highlights. Andrew has harassed my fiancée for months on end. I’ve witnessed it. The first time I complained…The store Director Anees called me saying if anything else happens to speak with him personally. Today, I spoke with Anees and he didn’t acknowledge my previous complaint. Basically calling me a liar to my face. It’s not being taken seriously. The employee is constantly being verbally aggressive and it’s normalized to the point where there isn’t any repercussions. The director Anees was visibly annoyed by me brining the issue to his attention. The video shows the voicemail left by Anees the first time I made the complaint April 21,2025.

Harris Teeter is one of the better grocery stores around—always clean, well-stocked, and organized. Their produce and fresh food sections are impressive, and I like that they carry a wide range of organic and international products. Staff are usually friendly and helpful, and checkout is smooth. Prices can be a bit higher than some other chains, but the quality and overall shopping experience make it worth it.
