6/6/26 8:21 AM at zip 19096 in Wynnewood-Debby an older grey grey haired female was terrible. Please rehire at self checkout. Trying to buy eggs she made me a target. She has a wrecked personality and looks both abused and haunted flatly unable to face her own sad past. Of several giant stores in the area, this one is the worst.

Worst experience I have ever had in a retail store. On 9/22/25 I came in simply to purchase a Reese’s cup and get cash back. Instead, I was subjected to harassment by a completely unprofessional security employee. Despite informing her that I was heading directly to the register to make a purchase, she proceeded to yell at me, chase me through the store, and demand access to my personal laptop bag — which contained sensitive information that I have every right to protect. I immediately completed my purchase at the register, yet the security employee continued to record me, wait by the door, and invade my privacy in a hostile and disturbing manner. This behavior was aggressive, unjustified, and completely unacceptable. It created an unsafe and humiliating environment for me as a customer. The conduct of this individual is a liability to the store and a blatant violation of basic customer rights. I will never step foot into this location again and strongly caution others to be aware of this employee. Photo attached.

I’m beyond disappointed with Giant Food on H Street. I purchased two loaves of Nature’s Own Perfectly Crafted Brioche Style Bread todayat 11:57 am, only to get home and find out they were both molded. Not just a little — completely inedible. This tells me no one is checking expiration dates on perishable items, which is basic grocery store 101. What makes it worse? I live 30 minutes away, so returning them isn’t exactly convenient. When I called the store to let them know, customer service had no answer—literally just silence. I told the gentleman that they should pull the bread because it expired May 7, 2025, today is May 12, 2025. Silence, no apology, no offer to make it right, just… quiet. That’s unacceptable. I expect better quality control and way better customer service. Giant, do better.

I understand theft may be an issue at this location but having your bag marked upon entry then they make you open it up upon departure makes the store itself feel low quality and feeling watched. And with the prices might as well go to whole foods for better quality.

Great place to shop! Clean store and friendly staff with great customer service. This location Includes a Free Underground Parking Garage with EV Charging Station and This Location is Accessible by Streetcar, Metro Bus, Ride Share Services and Union Station Metro Station.
