This Safeway is really well stocked, especially in the meat, poultry, and seafood sections. I appreciate how clearly they label everything—cage-free, pasture-raised, organic, etc.—which makes it easy to make informed choices while shopping. The store really promotes good-quality food and a thoughtful shopping experience. The security staff was also very friendly, which added to the positive atmosphere. Overall, a great Safeway location that feels clean, organized, and customer-focused.

To whomever at Safeway decided it would be wise to get rid bags with handles, good job. It was the final straw for a 40 year customer. It pushed me to try other grocers in my area, only to find they had better quality produce, lower prices, and well... bags with handles.

every time i try this location i hope its better because its close to our house but nope?? they restock at 11pm on a tuesday (though i feel like its like this every time i go), leaving some aisles difficult to navigate with your cart. and god forbid you need to go for a big trip because they only have self checkout at this hour (even though while we were struggling with this i watched 3 employees just standing around doing nothing). there needs to be at least 1 checkout lane open at all hours for accessibility, i have autism and get overwhelmed, and my partner is legally blind so self checkout is very very difficult for us. STOCK AFTER HOURS AND DO BETTER.

I had a wonderful experience at the Safeway flower department in Willow Glen, thanks to Safija! She does a fantastic job preparing bouquets, with an eye for color and detail that makes each arrangement look stunning. Safija was ( is a living breathing epitome of customer success and is truly blessed with an amazing sense of help, guiding the customers all the time) incredibly helpful, going out of her way to make sure I found exactly what I was looking for and even offering suggestions to make the bouquet extra special. Her dedication and creativity truly make a difference, and I left with a beautiful arrangement that exceeded my expectations. Highly recommend visiting Safija at Safeway’s flower department for all your floral needs Second Review: Another great experience that needs a mention (though earlier from the year) .I had a fantastic experience at this Safeway location, thanks to Liliana in the floral department. I had placed an order earlier in the day for a bouquet, and when I arrived, she went above and beyond to make sure it was perfect. Liliana was incredibly meticulous with the roses she selected, paying close attention to their freshness, color, and overall look. She also offered creative suggestions that truly elevated the bouquet’s design. The end result was absolutely stunning, far better than I had imagined. Kudos to Liliana for her care, creativity, and professionalism. She made the whole experience wonderful, and I’ll definitely be coming back for future floral needs!

One of the cleanest and well laid out groceries I've been to...friendly staff too! A pet peeve of mine has always been faulty shaky wiggling shopping carts. This location has carts that are really very well maintained and cleaned. The selections are diverse and the "specials" are actually on the items that you would buy or regularly buy. But they display varieties prominently, again showing good management. 👍🏻 ...update...lately my faves have been less available. It could be supply chain issues and what-not.
