Evelynn Garcia 3 weeks agoThey can get pretty busy sometimes but everything is pretty affordable compared to other places like Safeway. Peter the Cashier is so nice and welcoming, you can tell the customers love him and the fact that hes bilingual is awesome! 👌
Fae LeDawson 3 weeks agoA clean store with a wide selection. Prices are good but not great; most frozen meals are $4 and drinks from the fridge hover are often $3. Checkout is casual, so don't go if you're in a hurry.
Matthew Uong 3 months agoFood max is the bests place besides Costco to go grocery shopping for all American treats. They got a variety of food but most known for their low costs quality beef and pork not to mention chicken wings for $1.99 per pound tri tip on sale for $4.99 to 6.50 per pound. $7.99 for some ribeye steaks juicy and well marbled. They also have whole roast ribeyes with bone in for special occasions those goes for $5.99 per pound you can’t beat that if you’re in the mood for some savory prime rib. Eggs are decently priced at $1.99-$2.99 per dozen. Not quite as cheap as Walmart but plenty of it they also carries goats milk for those lactose obedients. They also have soy oats and other nondairy products which is great given the facts of being lactose intolerance after I hit 40 years young which kinda sucks because I love milk and cheese. Talk about cheese the cheese here are sliced grated in a bag velveta and solid 1bls block of regular process dairy stable that you can find in mosts stores nothing fancy like the goods at Lucky Savemart or Safeway but it’s ok for a midnight cheese sandwich or on top of nachos because they do have them in cans too I forgot, well let’s just say they feed the masses. Their fruit when on sales which is like always are extremely affordable like $2-$2.99 for cantaloupe or honey dew and they are huge when they are in season. They have apple strawberries huge ones blueberries and raspberry. They pretty much carries all the grocery that a huge supermarket would carry and a little bit more. Like during the winter season they would have sweaters and hood sweats very warm no brand for sales at $5 bucks a pop makes you want to buy like fifty worth just for the purpose of giving it to those it fits so that they can survive another freezing nights under the roof God made. It’s a very nice feeling to be able to hand something that gives more than just a significantly in values as it’s worth when given are priceless for it help preserves the lives for others and to your heart returning a welcoming warmth that can’t be bought by being fake even with real money. So that being said back to foodmax where you can get a 72loads of good laundry detergent for $7.99 on sale or a nine rolls of toilet papers for $3 bucks that did it for me ain’t nothing like to be able to number two like a king.
Xhuvo Paul 10 months agoIt has all the essentials of a grocery store. Decent selection of food and drinks. The store doesn't have much selection for ready made food or a deli. But does have a lot of fun snacks and candies.
Nora Ismail 6 months agoI rarely shop here and I don't know why. The customer service was amazing. The employee that helped me and explained everything went above and beyond on Christmas to make sure I got what I came for. They were very friendly with very short light brown buzz cut hair and a plaid shirt in Christmas colors. That employee definitely deserves a raise. They seemed like a manager but had no name tag. I hope corporate knows who I'm taking about and promotes this employee. I'm unsure of their pronouns but they were flippin awesome and definitely made my Christmas 🎄 🎁 I came here for cashback on Christmas and I was so grateful that they were open because my financial institution was too far away. I didn't know that you can get 60 dollars cash back at the self checkout and up to 300 if you go through the cashier. That's way better than all of the other grocery and retail stores that do cashback. For that reason, I'm tempted to check out the store and actually shop here. I hope they have organic items and gluten free items too. Thank you, Food Maxx, people don't realize how awesome you are! I felt like family on Christmas Day. God bless you. And if you don't believe in God, I hope the blessings come your way from whatever source energy you believe in.
