Dani Harmon 3 months agoIt's all in the name !! Find your best snacks , drinks and even some of the best food on 6th Street. Order the chopped cheese sandwich it even comes with fries for a reasonable price. Trust me ! They even have other food fun snacks as well like wing dings - as a visitor, I was in the right place. Team was very kind and has the best customer service on the block
T. Baldwin 2 months agoVery friendly staff I enjoyed talking to the gentleman in the deli. My sandwich was cooked to order and delicious. The only reason I'm not giving it five stars is because the alcohol was fifths or larger and beer were sold in packages not individually. But back to the sandwich it was delicious. I had him pick for me and I enjoyed the sandwich he decided on. It was their signature one with turkey avocado bacon honey mustard. Very good. But the store part can have improvements. It seemed to have a greedy vibe how they sell their products

Donald Hartman 4 months agoI am writing this review for the deli part of this business only. The front part of the store will always be my 5-star place for all the other stuff they offer. The deli store in the back recently changed their menu and operations. Kudos for the effort. I know what it takes to make that happen. But sadly, the food has suffered. I used to visit often as I live just 2 blocks away. I always got a well prepared and tasty sandwich. But I have been there twice since the change and I won't be going back. The first setback was the Philly Cheesesteak. It was a tragedy. I took a couple of bites, opened it up for a closer look, then threw it in the trash. It was not edible. Philly Cheesesteaks are made of thinly sliced beef grilled with strips (not chopped) peppers and onions. The meat was thick and unidentifiable. Chewy beyond belief. Horrible taste and texture. And almost 1/2" thick pieces. The peppers and onions were chopped as if to be added to an Omelette. They just fell out of the sandwich, which was probably a blessing. Anyhow, they deserved another chance so I went back thinking that my prior experience was just a random problem. Nope. I had a pastrami sandwich that they tout as being a favorite of the SDPD. I couldn't resist that. Got it home and took one bite. Sat right down to my computer to write this review. Uninspired. Poor ingredients. Poor execution. They pastrami was dry and hard around the edges as if it had been sliced and warmed more than once. And it had no pastrami flavor at all. They put pickle spears inside the sandwich. Spears, not chips or slices. Spears are for serving alongside a sandwich not for serving inside. Take a bite and the rest of the pickle spear just falls out. There was way too much sauce of some kind on the sandwich and it appeared to be microwaved. Not positive about that because I didn't watch the sandwich being prepared. But the finished product was just a tasteless gooey dripping mess. But, this is just my opinion. Food is very personal and you might actually love these sandwiches. I won't judge. I just wanted you to know how the food tasted to me.
