I like shopping at Safeway. This store is on my way to work or go home. Getting off the freeway and back on the freeway is easy without additional traffic and time. However, I have come to Safeway less often in recent years due to safety concerns regarding the parking lot! The store looks nice and very organized. They have security guards and cameras at the entrance. So the safety inside the store is good. The workers are very friendly, and the prices of all products are reasonable. I am still shopping here, but I am just trying to avoid the time after sunset!

Cashier by the name of Liam took great care of me today. When I walked in the line he was dealing with a crazy lady cussing him and others out but when he helped me you would have never known. Gave me outstanding service. I appreciate that nowadays it’s rare.

Kayla and Sharron at the pharmacy were absolutely amazing! They were really friendly and we went above and beyond and really cared. They put in the extra effort and helped me sort out a frustrating situation that so many other places turned me away on. Extremely grateful for both of them! Thanks soooo much 😊

I shop at this Safeway regularly and usually don’t have issues. Today I had an unpleasant interaction with an employee near the exit/self-checkout area. I was pushing a heavy cart with water and tried to move out of the way while apologizing if I accidentally cut in front of her while she was putting carts away. The employee responded with attitude, and as I walked by, the cart hit the back of my foot without any apology afterward. It was disappointing because I normally have positive experiences here. I just hope customer interactions can be handled more professionally moving forward.

A grocery store can feel almost like a system of small decisions. At the Safeway in Sacramento, every aisle offers a different possibility — vegetables for a healthy dinner, pasta for comfort food, or snacks for a movie night. The store is organized in a way that makes those choices simple. Shopping there felt efficient and calm.
