I just wanted to make everyone aware of a very concerning experience my girlfriend and I had here. We are both women, and we stopped by looking for carne asada, but they didn't have any, so we decided to leave. As we were exiting near the Starbucks, we noticed a man staring at us. At the time, we didn't realize he was a secret shopper because it wasn't obvious or identifiable in any way. Once we walked outside, we realized he was following us and appeared to be recording us. We felt extremely uncomfortable and unsafe, so we went back inside and asked a security guard to walk us to our car. While back in the store, we saw him showing the photos or videos he had taken of us to another employee. When I confronted him and asked why he was recording us, he denied it. I then asked why he had followed us outside, and he claimed it was because the cart I had been using had locked up. Whether he was a secret shopper or not, the way the situation was handled made us feel extremely uncomfortable. Following customers outside and appearing to record them without explanation felt invasive, unprofessional, and unsettling. I wanted to share this experience so others are aware.

I have been shopping at Vons on Ximeno for over 30 years, but I am no longer going to continue shopping here, pay higher prices than at Aldi, food for less, or Trader Joe’s and wait over 20 minutes to checkout! This is the 5th time this has happened in the past two weeks. Make the change or you will continue to lose customers. And based on what I heard other customers say, I am not alone in this frustration!

This used to be a great Vons, been shop here for over 20 years. In the last year this store has severely gone down hill. It doesn’t matter when I come in, there seems to always be a shortage of clerks and cashiers. Lines are always insanely long and the staff working is always in a bad mood. I can only imagine why. Do better Vons

Horrible service. I am a door dasher that often get orders from this location. Most of the staff are friendly but one staff had left a bad taste in my mouth. I was asking for their help to open the cabinet for the locked up detergent. The male staff member had dismissed my request and rolled his eyes when I asked that my customer wanted to add another item. He continue to dismiss me and rolled his eyes and went bag to pretend to bag groceries and when I had request for another picked item the cashier had ask d him to help me again and he refuses to help me. As a customer I felt super unwelcome and will not want to continue to shop here since that experience. In this economy I do not want anyone to get fired but I truly feel like the vons manger can find a better employed where their customer would feel welcome and safe to shop at their location.

I was just there and a cashier named Chris was the most patronizing person I have ever met! I always have problems with my “digital card” and I was trying to explain to him my issue and instead of listening he yelled at me to “calm down” and kept talking over me. He finally “just gave me my discount” (not on everything on sale) and was looking at the people behind me like I was being difficult. I’m not being difficult. What happened was I logged into the app and clipped the in store coupons, and instead of connecting to my phone number it connected to my email (which didn’t have a phone number). I told him this happens often and he just keep telling me to calm down and grabbed my phone to find the information. He said I didn’t have a phone number connected. I again said I know and tried to explain and present my scannable member card and he just kept telling me to calm down🤦🏻‍♀️ I hate in person shopping and not having self scan, and Chris made the whole experience worse!
