Kal Sukar 3 months agoVons in Anaheim is honestly one of the better grocery stores in the area. Every time I come here, I find the store clean, well-organized, and easy to navigate, which makes the whole shopping experience smooth and stress-free. What stands out the most is how well-stocked everything is. Whether it’s fresh produce, meats, bakery items, or everyday essentials, they consistently have a great variety and good quality. The produce section in particular always looks fresh and well maintained, which is something I really pay attention to. The staff are friendly and helpful without being overbearing. Even when the store gets busy, they keep things moving efficiently, especially at checkout. I’ve never had to wait too long, and that makes a big difference. Another thing I appreciate is the overall atmosphere—it just feels calm and organized compared to some other grocery stores that can feel chaotic. It’s clear that management is doing a good job maintaining standards here. Prices are fair, especially when you take advantage of their deals and membership discounts. Definitely a reliable place for regular grocery shopping. Overall, a consistently positive experience. Clean, well-stocked, efficient, and pleasant—exactly what you want from a neighborhood grocery store.
Alyssa Khuon 3 weeks agoWhoever was working Sunday 06/07/26 night at around 8:30pm at the cashier - male Asian man - was completely rude and should not be working in that mental state. I’ve never been to this Vons & saw that there was a self checkout as I was waiting in line at the cashier - thus, I decided to pull my cart back and head that way. However, the cashier finished whatever he was doing so I decided to stay. The cashier rudely told me & my cousin (mind you WE ARE YOUNGER WOMEN EARLY 20’s) this man had the audacity to say “No! You can go to self checkout out. I’m sorry make you wait and you have no patience” I stood there processing what had happened, appauld at his response. All I was doing was simply thinking out loud, realized they had a self checkout & he seemed to be eagaerly bothered by that. No 30 year old man should be talking to young women in this way. If this was your daughter you would be upset.
Gina Soscia 6 months agoThis is for the Von’s Pavilions in AH. I was waiting in the checkout line. It was my turn to begin unloading my items onto the conveyor belt. I had placed 3 items at the very start the belt. I was physically bumped from behind by a woman. No “excuse me” or “I’m sorry.” She had 4 small items in her hands along with her phone & she pushed MY produce forward with her forearm and dumped HER items onto the belt! I told her I’m not even finished unloading my items & it’s not her turn! She said, “I need to send a text!” Oh, okay. By all means, physically bump into me and then push my food up and dump your items on the belt! Then, I began to ask the checker a price question about the grapes I was buying. I started to speak and she held up a produce bag and yelled to the cashier, “Do you see how I have this cheese in this bag? I want you to keep it in this bag!” Talking RIGHT OVER ME!! I had not even gotten to the pay terminal yet! She then proceeded to give instructions to the cashier about how she wanted her order bagged, like I wasn’t even there! She was INCREDIBLY RUDE to me! Then I saw her name tag! She is an EMPLOYEE in their pharmacy! I am appalled that a Von’s employee would treat a customer like this! She apparently believes that she is an extremely important person and she can treat Von’s customers like trash! I have never experienced anything like this in my life! I will never return to this store!
trevor Kelly 2 months agoManager lady is very kind and chill. She tried to kick out a mid 50-year-old scalper chud and he refused to leave the Pokemon machine.( been kicked out 2 times earlier that day)Then once it restocked bought out all the product not letting the high school kid behind him get a pack... He then proceeded to post a bad review on the store NOT COOL DANIEL we stand with manager lady
Anthony 2 months agoThe manager lady was very kind. She kicked a 50 year-old out from waiting at the Pokémon machine because she took all the Pokémon away at a certain time even though seeing the line behind him. keep in mind that guy was waiting at the Pokémon machine for over two hours, even though, knowing it had a no loitering sign and built into the machine, not pasted by the Vons workers
