A special highlight is the 10% senior citizen discount on groceries offered on the first Wednesday of every month—an admirable and thoughtful initiative that truly adds a feather to Safeway’s cap. The presence of a Starbucks and an in-store pharmacy further enhances the convenience, making it a complete one-stop shopping experience. Overall, Safeway stands out for its cleanliness, freshness, affordability, and customer-friendly services. Highly recommended.

They "updated" the store and now you feel like a criminal every time you go in, security follows you if you wear a large bag or hat or sunglasses, they only have one set of doors open and if you only go to the pharmacy you have to weave through the registers to leave bc they have that stupid alarm gate now. Also the alarm gate often goes off from people walking into the store not even out. Prices keep getting worse and now they're changing the ads

I came in today to pick up my online order and was assisted by a young man named Jeremiah. I wanted to take a moment to recognize him for his outstanding customer service. From the moment he approached me, he was polite, respectful, and genuinely attentive. He demonstrated excellent common sense while loading my groceries into my trunk and even took the extra step of noticing that I had eggs in my order, kindly asking if I would prefer to keep them with me in the front seat. In a time when thoughtfulness and common sense can sometimes feel rare, Jeremiah stood out as someone who clearly possesses both. His professionalism and respectful demeanor made my experience truly pleasant

If I could give this location a negative score I would. I’ve been shopping at this Safeway location for over 10 years, and I’ve never felt compelled to leave a review—until now. Sadly, the store has changed dramatically for the worse since the new female manager took over. The atmosphere has become noticeably tense. The employees, who used to be friendly and helpful, now seem stressed, overworked, and clearly unhappy. On a recent visit, I had a casual conversation with an employee in the parking lot who confided that morale has been at an all-time low since the current manager started. According to them, she treats the staff poorly, and it’s created a toxic work environment. As a long-time customer, it’s incredibly disheartening to see a store that used to be a pleasant place to shop now feel cold and uncomfortable. You can see it in the employees’ faces—they’re just trying to get through the day. Management makes or breaks a store, and in this case, it’s breaking. Safeway corporate should seriously take a look at what’s happening here. Loyal customers notice when employees are miserable, and it absolutely impacts where we choose to spend our money. Until there’s a serious change in leadership or workplace culture, I’ll be shopping elsewhere. Apparently the mangers name is Shannon. I own a business and the employees deserve better.

I’ve always enjoyed shopping for my groceries here at this Safeway location. It has great produce and a nice selection of of everything else. Of course the Starbucks helps as well if you need a beverage while you shop. 👍😎
