What a great piece of history to have in Tucson. We talked to the owners son. He was very nice also he went to amphitheater so that was fun to share some memories. The place is so amazing and has an awesome vibe. The racks and the floors to the signage is so cool. Stop by and enjoy this treasure.

It's worth paying this store a visit if it's roughly on your errand or commute route. It seems to be a convenient place to shop for people who are in the neighborhood. Based on the very limited parking and the relatively high prices, this store doesn't look like a shopping destination set up to attract customers from across town. There were some empty shelves but also quality fresh produce and various other groceries. There might be some good deals here, such as the old greeting cards and maybe some other goods.

So cool! Family owned for generations. Had everything to stock my hotel room & was an absolute pleasure to be reminded what grocery shopping was like before Krogbertsonsway. Very nice shopkeep too

Beautiful vintage signage and old world looking grocery store. The supply of goods is very limited. They do have a little bit of produce, a smidge of meat and some basics to tide you over, as well as some beer & liquor. The owners are friendly too. But many of the shelves are bare, as this used to be a full scale grocery at one point in its life, back in the day.

In an economy full of chain mega warehouse stores, I enjoyed wandering into the micro grocery and meeting the owners. The ages and ages they have fought to maintain a small business and provide for the local community is to be respected! Prices are directly proportional to the comfort and convenience, but the smiles are worth the tip
