I love how organized and clean Frys Food on Mclintock and Guadalupe always is! The food is always fresh and fairly priced. I wish they had more live cashiers and that the QR code coupons worked better. I have been coming here for the past 30+ years and will continue shopping here in the future since it's conveniently located.

I came to this Frys location on March 31st 2026. I just got off of work & got some balloons & roses for my wife & our 20th Anniversary. Michelle helped me in the flower/balloon area. I'm so thankful I got her & her great attitude & customer service! She wrapped my wife's roses very nicely, she blew up the balloons great! But also clipped them, tied them so they wouldn't fly area! Michelle went above & beyond! And honestly I did not expect that. Michelle thank you for your help arranging all this for me, for my wife. I'm sure it seemed little to you or to others reading this review. But in a world where there is no more care, kindness & dang sure customer service, you made something as simple as roses & balloons, a small part of our 20th Anniversary celebration absolutely wonderful! Thank you so much!!!

Update: I had to come inside with my 7 week Daughter to use the facilities. On the way out a RUDE clerk commented on my daughters appearance. She then accused me of being on the phone when I did not respond immediately. What is WITH your DUMB clerks thinking that we OWE them a response. It is SO annoying. I do NOT have time for it!!! Self checkout cashier seemed nice at first but then acted like I was absurd for not wanting to be patronized. She got offended stopped helping me. She and her friend were making VERY weird obsessive comments about my newborn daughter. I was very uncomfortable. This should all not be allowed here to abuse your customers.

This store is always immaculate and has everything you need and more but I cannot give them five stars purely because of the chick at the self checkout. She is freakin rude and not helpful in any way. I had my hands full of bags and was struggling to carry them AND the little basket for your groceries and instead of her offering to grab the little basket for me, she pointed at the area where to stack the empty basket. This has happened on multiple occasions and it’s always the same chick. She never smiles, she never offers to assist and just looks down right miserable. So if you plan of shopping here, do yourself a favor and DONT use the self checkout. Every other employee is super friendly but not little miss grumpy at self check out.

The produce was great last time I came here. I'd like to specifically thank Luna for her incredible personality. She was especially kind and bright, and she was very helpful when I asked her questions about something I was looking for. She was very genuine in her care, and she is exactly the type of person I hope to run into whenever I go to that store.
